i was born and raised a Bears fan and will die a Bears fan. For years, they were the only team around. I will not change my allegiance and root for a transplanted team that is about 150 miles from me when I have a great team with a great football history that is only 15 miles from me. Go Bears!

The region is nothing like Indianapolis. We don't have Indy accents, we have Chicago accents. We get Chicago radio, news. When do you ever see political ads for Indiana candidates? We rarely do, we get Illinois political ads. We are a lot closer to Chicago than we are to Indy. We have awesome Chicago eateries and store's (Portillo's, Al's, Carson Pirie Scott).

Lake County is a part of Chicagoland---the ugly, kinda stinky little brother of Chicago. We may not get any respect, but there's no denying it. For all you rah-rah "You live in Indiana so you must cheer for the Colts" types, I challenge you to move outside the region for a little while, and into regular Indiana. I did, and I noew hate the rest of Indiana with an incredible passion, including their capital city.
